In the City of Cincinnati, please notify Public Services of illegal dumping by calling (513) 591-6000 or visiting their Customer Service Website.
Our staff and partners help neighborhoods clean up chronic illegal dumpsites by providing dumpsters, cleanup supplies and tools, bobcat rentals, monitoring equipment, and/or Police assistance.
In 2014, we received a large grant from the Ohio EPA that really kick-started this program. With that funding, in the program’s first year, we were able to organize 14 cleanups with hundreds of volunteers and community service workers. At these sites, we collected over 60 tons of trash and removed 2,245 illegally dumped tires! We continue to work closely with the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Public Services, the Cincinnati Police Department, and the Hamilton County Sheriff to collect illegally dumped tires, abate chronic tire dumpsites, and to find and prosecute illegal dumpers.
If you would like more information about what to do with an illegal dumpsite in your neighborhood, contact Mark Antrobus at (513) 352-4505.
