Mary Huttlinger has been named executive director to lead Keep Cincinnati Beautiful (KCB), an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.
Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is an award winning nonprofit organization that reduces litter and blight, promotes sustainability, and cultivates community pride through volunteerism and environmental education.
Huttlinger has over 20 years’ experience working on grassroots and community outreach initiatives in over 15 states, coast-to-coast. She has spent time as a Congressional Chief of Staff, served as a federal and state lobbyist, owned a small retail business with her husband, and served as an operations and strategic consultant to a multitude of non-profits.
Her passion lies in helping people find their voice and achieving their goals. Mary received her BS in Business from Northern Arizona University and her MBA from George Washington University in Washington D.C.
“We’re very excited to have Mary on board to help lead KCB into the future,” said Alan B. Lindner, president & CEO of United Dairy Farmers and board chairman of KCB. “Her energy, breadth of experience and passion are all valuable qualities that will ensure the continuing success of the organization. We look forward to working with her and hope to make the transition as seamless as possible.
“It is with great honor to join such a wonderful organization and amazing team at Keep Cincinnati Beautiful! Linda established a powerful and solid foundation and it is my intention to sustain and grow her legacy through continued and new partnerships, innovation, and inspiration. I am committed to ensure Cincinnati is recognized as a clean, green, and beautiful community; one where all Cincinnatians will be proud to call home,” said Huttlinger.
Huttlinger will succeed Linda Holterhoff, who is retiring in February after nearly 25 years of service.
