Title
Field Auditor (7 available positions)
FULL-TIME SUMMER POSITIONOverall Responsibility
Verify house count for the City of Cincinnati on assigned routes using portable hand-held computer device
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Correctly follow specified routes each day
• Accurately record number of single family houses and individual units in multi-family homes and buildings in designated areas
• Record results using portable hand-held computer device
• Confirm or correct addresses in device or input new addresses for new builds
• Return computer device each day to KCB
Term of Employment
• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 8 – 10 weeks beginning mid-June
• Must be available to work the whole term
Compensation
$9 / hour
Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and understand a map
• Ability to operate a hand-held computer (with training)
• Basic knowledge of City of Cincinnati
• Physical ability to walk at least four blocks at a time
• Must be able to commit to working entire duration of project with no time off
• Must be extremely reliable and prompt

Summer Communications Intern - National Litter Prevention multimedia campaign
Supervisor: Josman Rodriguez
Hours per Week: 8-15 *Paid ($500 per month) Start in June. be available for 3 months.
Duties:
- Help with the implementation of Keep Cincinnati Beautiful's Litter prevention Pilot Campaign.
- Create e-newsletter using Constant Contact.
- Write articles on litter prevention and green issues.
- Manage street team and interact with sponsors.
- Create press releases and press kits for events.
- Lead street events organizing volunteers.
Education Intern
Supervisor: Barb Wriston-Ruddy
Hours per Week: 8-10 *Non Paid
Duties:
- Educational Outreach - visit area classrooms to perform free classroom outreach programs, including: How Litter Hurts Animals, Eco-Art, Fred the Fish, the Mystery of Landfills, and more.
- Schedule Programs - assist the Educational Program Manager with scheduling of educational outreach programs. Contact schools and other groups (after-school programs, etc.) to coordinate outreach visits.
- Eco-Educator newsletter - write articles for Eco-Educator newsletter.
Sustaining Programs Intern
Supervisor: Brooke Romaniw
Hours per Week: 8-10 *Non Paid
Duties:
- Maintain Supercan & Adopt-a-Spot programs. The Supercan is a roll-off dumpster for communities to use to clean up illegal dump sites, and the Adopt-a-Spot program encourages individuals and groups to adopt blocks or areas within their communities. Work with individuals and community groups to schedule and coordinate with city agencies to arrange for roll-off dumpsters and Adopt-a-Spot signs. Process applications for both programs.
- Duties include creating/maintaining databases, working with local coordinators, assisting with office tasks, etc.
