The State Roadway Cleanup

April 26, 2014 @ 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

Get ready for some massive spring cleaning! Give Back Cincinnati is going to take on a multi-site Tri-state transformation. We’ll be cleaning 14 (that’s right, we said 14!) highway sites throughout Cincinnati. Our teams will handle litter cleanup, graffiti removal, brush trimming and clearing, and general landscaping in areas throughout the city.

Since this event will cover such a wide area, we ask that you sign up for one of three zones. Each zone will have a designated meeting area. On the day of the event, volunteers will arrive at the meeting location for their zone, then they will be divided into smaller groups and bused to their highway site.

Zone 1: North End- Ohio Department of Transportation Garage – 1400 Seymour Ave, Carthage, Cincinnati, OH. Sites include sections of I-75 near Paddock road, and off of I-71 near Stewart road.

Zone 2: West End- Cincinnati Museum Center/Union Terminal, 1301 Western Ave., Cincinnati, OH. Sites include areas off of route 50 on the west side, Liberty Street near I-75, and Spring Grove Ave.

Zone 3: East End- Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park – 925 Riverside Drive, Cincinnati, OH. Sites include sections of I-71 near the MLK overpass and Dana Ave. exit, and route 52 near riverside drive.

We are super excited to be partnering with Give Back Cincinnati and the Ohio Department of Transportation! Click here to sign up:
