Event Spotlight: Frederick Douglass School Community Garden

Over the course of a few weeks, Cincinnati Beautiful (KCB), a team of over twenty Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers and other community volunteers have worked to transform a vacant, overgrown lot in Walnut Hills into a thriving community garden. Community leader, Gary Dangel, is the mastermind behind the garden’s unique landscape design and lead the project. Lowe’s contributed volunteers, supplies, materials, equipment, and enthusiasm for giving.
