Cincinnati Beautiful" Pitches In For RiverFest Clean-Up Reported by: 9News8/31/03 11:38:24 AM One of the most unforgettable scenes of RiverFest, other than the fireworks display, is the trash left behind. Every year cleaning crews have to face the ominous task of clearing it all out. This year, one organization, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, is pitching in to help prevent as much of the mess to clean up and hope the public will do their share, too. The group is asking that spectators bring their own trash bags to keep their own space tidy -- or just to help with the clean-up in the aftermath of Sunday's event. Trash bags are being passed out near Yeatman's Cove -- and they're even passing out mini-ash tray tins and "envelopes" to dispose of your cigarette butts if you're a smoker.
