Councilman Crowley and Keep Cincinnati Beautiful Present

The Wartville Wizard

Councilman Crowley joins Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and Clark Montessori High School to spread the anti-litter message

For Immediate Release: CINCINNATI- This Friday, March 19, 2004 Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and Clark Montessori High School will take their anti-litter show, The Wartville Wizard, on the road to Bramble Academy. The curtains will rise at 1:00 pm.

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and Kate Wilford, a drama consultant for Clark Montessori High School, have transformed The Wartville Wizard, a children?s book written by Don Maddon, into a play. The play serves as a visual tool to teach children that littering is harmful to the environment and to us.

Councilman Crowley will introduce the play to the children of Bramble Academy. He will speak to them about the importance of litter prevention, and discuss ways that they can help keep their neighborhood clean.

The opening performance starts at 1:00 p.m. at Bramble Academy, which is located at 4324 Homer Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45227.

Keep Cincinnati Beautiful wishes to especially thank Kate Wilford and the Clark Montessori High School students for their help and dedication to the production.

This program is FREE to all schools within the city of Cincinnati. If you are interested in having the play come to your school, please call Keep Cincinnati Beautiful's Education Department at (513) 352-4387.
