Fitting Tribute

from the Cincinnati Post

Pam Gibson, who died last year, had dedicated much of her life to the work of Keep Cincinnati Beautiful. She served on its board of trustees for seven years, four as its chair. A strong leader, she helped the organization win many national awards and local honors. In recognition of her commitment, representatives from Keep Cincinnati Beautiful joined Gibson's friends and relatives Thursday afternoon in dedicating a butterfly garden created as a tribute to her near the south parking lot of Findlay Market. The Pam Gibson Butterfly Garden was made possible through fundraising by the Cincinnati Ad Club along with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, which is a not-for-profit organization promoting litter prevention, recycling, and community involvement and beautification through citizen action, education, and startegic partnerships.
